Kevin and Leslie (Wittenburg) Spraggins began caring for a portion of the historic Wittenburg Ranch in 2013, continuing a family story rooted in the Texas Hill Country.

Leslie, an interior designer and president of Redbird Design + Build, grew up on the ranch and holds fond memories of the old farmhouse on the property. Kevin, a civil engineer and owner of VEI in nearby Fredericksburg, shared her vision of preserving both the land and the home that meant so much to her family.
For years they dreamed of saving the farmhouse from ruin. When that dream became reality, the restoration was meant only for family. But as the property came back to life, friends and guests began gathering there to celebrate life’s milestones. Before long, people were asking if the ranch could be shared with others.

Today, Antelope Creek Farms welcomes couples and families to create their own memories beneath the wide Hill Country sky. The 7W Guesthouse, a charming cottage on the property, offers a peaceful place for overnight stays and wedding-day preparations. And like any place rooted in history and heart, the story of the ranch is still unfolding.
“It is our hope that you find Antelope Creek Farms as special a place as we do. There is a quiet peace here and simple beauty of a time passed. Welcome to our ranch.”

Leyna Wittenburg was born less than a mile from Antelope Creek Farms on Wittenburg land that has been in her family for more than 175 years. Raised in Lampasas County, she later attended Texas A&M University, where she met her husband, Tim Brewer. The two returned home and were married here on the ranch, continuing a story that has been unfolding on this land for generations.
Today, Leyna teaches school in nearby Lometa while Tim manages the day-to-day ranch operations. Together they care for the family land with the hope of preserving its heritage and passing its legacy on to their young daughter, Gracen.
