Kevin and Leslie (Wittenburg) Spraggins assumed operation of a portion of the Wittenburg ranch in 2013. Leslie is an interior designer and president of Redbird Design + Build, Kevin is a Civil Engineer and owns and operates, VEI, a civil engineering firm in Fredericksburg. Leslie grew up on the ranch and has fond memories of the old farmhouse on the family property. Kevin and Leslie always dreamed of saving it from ruin and 6 years ago, they did. The original intent was to renovate the property just for family use but over time more and more events began to be held there. Guests were constantly asking if the ranch was available for use to outsiders and so finally they decided to share their family ranch with others. Kevin and Leslie have recently launched the 7W Guesthouse, a scenic cottage on the property perfect for BNB stays and "day of" wedding preparation. Look out for further additions as they are always thinking of the next thing to renovate or build.
“It is our hope that you find Antelope Creek Farms as special a place as we do. There is a quiet peace here and simple beauty of a time passed. Welcome to our ranch.”

Leyna Wittenburg was born less than a mile from Antelope Creek Farms on Wittenburg land, land that has been in the family for over 175 years. She grew up in Lampasas county and later graduated from Texas A&M University. She met her husband, Tim Brewer, at A&M and they married on this ranch. Leyna teaches school in nearby Lometa and Tim runs the ranch operations. They enjoy working the family ranch and hope to leave a legacy for their young daughter, Gracen.
